US SAILING ANIMATED GUIDE TO THE RULES
Here's the latest from US Sailing. It starts up kinda fuzzy. Wait for a minute and then move the slider to the beginning and enough of it will have downloaded to make it really sharp. Either way it's one of the best ways to review the rules of Part 2 in the Racing Rules of Sailing.
QUIZ
Ok feel like you know the rules? Time for a POP Quiz; read on.

Click here for the quiz if you dare.
1. This is one of the best Rules Quiz sites I've seen (Thanks to Jess). It looks a little primitive but don't let that fool you; it really delivers. If you doubt that click on "Difficult" and see how you do. If you usually race in the top five you should get them all correct.
It's in a lot of languages so don't forget to start by selecting the British Flag (for English). Let me know what you think and If you find a better Rules Quiz site let please let me know too.
2. Still reading this huh. Well then you're ready for a QUICK POP QUIZ (True or False)
-The Rules prevent collisions and allow for fair racing.
-Respect for the rules and respect for our competitors amounts to the same thing.
-Champions know the rules and can win without breaking them.
-A Rules Quiz is a great way to keep sharp on the rules.
-They shudda stopped with Mast Abeam.
Answers: all true (grin) and if you answered false to more than one of these you get to start your next race early.
3. If you got this far it's time to do some racing; don't want to spend too much time on the rules. right. (grin)
Hope all this helps. If it does then let me know the next time we're racing by saying "Protest 445" and smile (or grin)...thanx, Don.
